This is a 3-piece set that includes the foot, the lock, and the gear. Also included is the 8-32 nut that holds the various accessories to the foot (i.e. the battery mounts and cup holders; sold separately). When twisted, the gear extends the foot into the Packout slots and 'clicks' to lock in place.
